Server Hosting and Virtualization

The current hosted server platform is a managed hosting solution for customers requiring the HaC to provide the labor, hardware, and software required to monitor, manage, and maintain their server operating environments. The HaC provides the expertise and infrastructure to handle customers’ computing needs. 

Why Server Hosting and Virtualization?

DISA offers global on-prem and virtual hosting capabilities to meet customers where they are. Whether you are using on-prem capabilities or commercial cloud, the HaC can provide the system administration to help customers maintain their DOD cyber posture.

Options.

  • System Administration. Provides labor to monitor and manage hardware at the operations support level. The HaC offers on-site technical specialists and labor support options up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 2-hour response times.   
  • Basic Services. Baseline offering which includes: system administration, security administration labor, and hardware and software tools required to monitor and manage the operating environment. 
  • Communications support and infrastructure. Level 2 service desk and physical and administrative infrastructure needed to support IT service delivery. 
  • Hardware Services. Mandatory service is applied when DISA provides hardware. It includes the cost of the hardware, the operating system, standard maintenance, recurring technical refresh, monthly capacity reports, and miscellaneous items like racks and cabling. 

Getting started.

To purchase Server Hosting and Virtualization, complete the Service Request Form (SRF) that will identify the specifics of your requirement. Once complete, create a case on the Customer Service Management Portal. Note that both pages are NIPR and CAC-enabled.
