Jean Richards

Chief, Operations Support Office

Ms. Jean Richards serves as the Chief for the Operations Support Office within Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Hosting and Compute (HaC). In this role, she is responsible for providing all acquisition, contract, financial, and workforce management support for the center. 

Previously, Ms. Richards served as the Business Versatilist, supporting business operations and strategy within Hybrid Cloud Solutions Lines of Business responsible for hosting DOD applications within the 11 DOD Hybrid Cloud Centers. During her almost 20-year DISA career she has served multiple financial, programmatic, and operational roles. 

Ms. Richards started her career as a computer specialist in the United States Air Force. During her time, she supported Missile Warning and Air Defense Operations at Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, also known as NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command). 

Ms. Richards holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in finance and accounting, both from Regis University in Denver, CO.
